All of our pupils from Junior Infants right up to 6th Class have been working very hard this year with their teachers to help our school become a GAA 5 Star Centre of Excellence. In addition to the usual year-long schedule of training and matches at U11 and U13 for boys and girls in hurling, camogie and Gaelic football, we are very proud to be able to say that every single child in our school had an opportunity to participate in a diverse range of GAA activities such as Have a Ball, Fun & Run, Camán & Play, Catch & Kick, Skill Challenges, and Go Games. A special thank you goes to Mr. Walsh for co-ordinating the GAA 5 Star initiative in our school and supporting the class teachers in delivering the programme to their classes.
